Maryland Votes For Animals

In 2009, a group of Marylanders, concerned with the state's appalling animal welfare record, banded together to make their collective voice heard in the legislature. Maryland's position near the bottom of national ratings provided clear evidence that change was needed but how to accomplish it?  The answer was the formation of Maryland Votes For Animals, a Political Action Committee.

Advocacy requires dedication, organization, a committed volunteer force and, these days, an effective web presence.  SDI developed VoteAnimals.org to communicate issues to members, solicit feedback and encourage action.
